We are a unique retail business specialising in marine lighting, high-quality antiques, rare collectibles, and distinctive home decor. Every item in our inventory has a story. We are looking for a creative storyteller to bring these unique pieces to life online.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic on-site E-commerce Content & Social Media Specialist. You will manage our multi-channel online presence. This role combines product photography, inventory listing, and visual marketing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and experience in social media management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation and develop your skills within the e-commerce sector.

Duties

Manage and optimise social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer interaction.
Monitor social media trends and analyse engagement metrics to refine content strategies.
Respond promptly to customer comments and messages on social channels to foster community engagement.
Assist in organising online events or promotions that enhance brand visibility.
Photograph unique items highlighting their character and condition.
Edit product images for professional, clean multi-channel display.
Upload listings daily to Shopify, Amazon, Vinterior, and eBay.
Assisting in writing compelling descriptions detailing history, dimensions, and condition.
Optimise keywords for search visibility across all platforms.
Produce social media content showcasing our latest stock.
Engage online buyers and respond to marketplace inquiries.
Maintain accurate stock levels across all digital channels.

Skills

Multi-platform listing experience with Shopify, eBay, and Amazon.
Vinterior platform knowledge is highly desirable.
Product photography skills, especially with unique or reflective items.
Photo editing proficiency in Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva.
Social media marketing experience on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. Proficiency is using social media management tools is essential.
Proven experience in social media management and content creation within an e-commerce environment.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and current social media trends.
Knowledge of public relations strategies and how they integrate with digital campaigns.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Creative thinker with an eye for visual aesthetics and branding consistency.
Ability to analyse data insights from social platforms to inform future content strategies. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual eager to grow their career in digital marketing within a supportive team environment.
