About The Role

Practice Plus Group is a trusted provider of urgent and out-of-hours healthcare services across the UK, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care beyond standard clinic hours. We believe in supporting our clinical teams with essential roles that help ensure patients receive timely and effective care in their homes.

Our Out of Hours service in Exeter are looking for a Receptionist to join the team to support with preparing and opening the centre ready for the arrival of our patients and doctors, ensuring our patients are greeted and seen to with a friendly and professional manner, as well as a a variety of other administrative and reception duties.

You would be contracted to work 13 hours per week over the weekend, with a mixture of shifts available to discuss.

What you'll be doing

Ensuring that the site is open and ready for the start of the shift, and locking the site up securely at the close of a shift

Accurately entering patients who walk in to the service details onto system

Completing a PCC Log Sheet during every shift as per the guidelines
Accurate record keeping regarding distribution of prescriptions

Ensuring all files on site are up to date and all paperwork filed away

Comfort calling patients during busy periods to help the coordinators

Completing and maintain 100 compliancy on LMS training system

What we’ll look for in you

Previous experience of working in a Reception, Admin or Customer Service role.

Clear communication, attention to detail and organisational skills
