Full job description

Minibus Driver Part Time Required - Covering our Homes in Ruby Lodge, Somerset House & Bridewood when its opens

Hours: 21 Hours per week over 3 days ,additional hours Holiday cover

ABOUT THE MINIBUS DRIVER ROLE

Our minibus drivers will have several local Homes to drive for, planning effectively with each Home to maximise its use in a fair and agreeable rota, helping our Residents move to and from their destination with ease. The vehicle will be based at one of the homes. You may also be needed to cover other days of the week on occasions.

Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.
Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issues
Keep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.

Have a friendly & caring attitude
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have a genuine enthusiasm for driving
Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential
For insurance reasons, our drivers must be over 25 years of age and have a FULL UK Driving License for 2 years or more and this must include category D1, with no serious driving convictions
