Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Floor Layer specialising in Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), vinyl and laminate flooring to join our expanding team. The Role
We're looking for an experienced floor layer to work across a variety of residential renovation and refurbishment projects.
You'll be responsible for preparing subfloors, applying latex and self-levelling compounds where required, and installing a range of premium flooring products, including LVT, vinyl and laminate flooring. You'll often work alongside our kitchen installation team, helping to deliver high-quality finishes throughout each project.
Travel to customer properties across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas will be required.
Responsibilities
- Preparing subfloors for new flooring installations
- Applying latex and self-levelling compounds
- Installing Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring
- Installing click and glue-down vinyl flooring
- Installing laminate flooring
- Floor preparation and moisture checks
- Fitting skirting boards, beading and finishing trims where required
- Working alongside kitchen fitters and other trades
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Delivering excellent customer service on every project
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in flooring installation
- Proven experience fitting LVT flooring
- Experience installing vinyl and laminate flooring
- Experience preparing subfloors and applying latex/self-levelling compounds
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van
- Own tools
- Public Liability Insurance
- Right to work in the UK

Although not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Underfloor heating installations
- Floor preparation and repairs
- Kitchen renovations
- Tiling
- Carpentry and joinery
- Property refurbishments
- Working within occupied residential properties
