Job description

We are currently looking for Skilled Groundworkers with civils experience to join our team working on water treatment projects across the Reading, Oxford and Slough areas.

We are looking for experienced, reliable and hardworking individuals with a strong background in civil engineering and groundwork.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

Water treatment or utilities experience
Ductile iron pipe installation
General civils and groundwork
Operating dumpers and rollers
Excavation, drainage and pipework
Working safely on active construction sites

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Groundworker within the civils sector
Good understanding of construction and site safety
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Relevant plant tickets would be an advantage

Pay rate is £23 / £25 per hour

This assignment will take place on an active construction site controlled by our client. Workers may be exposed to the normal risks associated with construction activities, including moving plant and vehicles, manual handling, uneven ground, noise, dust, working at height, and interaction with other site activities. Site-specific risks will be briefed in full at induction on your first day on site and task-specific risks will be briefed daily or as required. You must adhere to all site rules, risk assessments and method statements, task briefings, toolbox talks, permits, supervision and required PPE
