Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carring out MOT's on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet all safety standards and legal requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive work and a keen eye for detail to develop their career within a reputable workshop environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with current legislation and industry standards
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately and safely
Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining high quality standards
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including heavy lifting procedures when handling parts or equipment

Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of automotive systems
Valid MOT tester certification
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical skills in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to utilise their technical expertise in a dynamic automotive workshop. All roles are paid positions, reflecting the importance of the work undertaken.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
