Full job description

Tongda Distribution ltd is a fast growing logistics\transport company.

We are currently looking to hire an operations supervisor to our NN8 site who will be able to support our busy transport office and the warehouse team, making sure that the daily work is running smoothly .

The operations supervisor duties will include, but not limited to:

Organizing and supervising the following daily tasks:

- Preparing warehouse\transport documents and labels

- Scan & upload docs to WMS

- Customer Service

- Liaising with the warehouse

- Filling, filing and organizing documents

- forwarding report of completed jobs to our finance dep

-Inbound & outbound jobs

- taking job bookings from customers

- updating spreadsheets

Skills & Experience required for this position:

- experience in this industry

Computer skills ( MS Office ), training will be provided to use internal systems

· A clear and confident communicator

- Highly organized\ able to multitask

· Ability to work unsupervised

- Ability to keep up with the workload \ able to prioritize

- Knowledge of shipping industry would be beneficial

- warehouse and office experience advantage

- mandarin speaker preferred

- management experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hrs per week

There is an initial 12 months contract, which will be extended once more then perm after 2 years of service.

3 months probation

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
