Job Title: Chiropractic Clinic Assistant - Front Desk Receptionist & Rehabilitation Assistant

About the Role:
As a Chiropractic Clinic Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive excellent care and service. Your responsibilities will include managing the front desk (answering the phone, making bookings, taking payments) and day to day clinic operations, performing general office and administrative duties and assisting with patient spinal rehabilitation (training provided, no prior experience required).
Shift schedule will be discussed prior to starting, however you must have availability in the mornings (8am -12.30pm) and afternoons/ evenings (1 pm – 7:30 pm) and also have the ability to cover extra hours when team members are on holiday. Potential for weekly hours to increase.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all patients, ensuring a warm welcome and answering any queries.
- Manage the clinic’s front desk operations, including booking appointments, taking payments, and handling phone and email inquiries.
- Assist the chiropractor in delivering high-quality care, guiding patients through their treatment plans
- Assist in patient's spinal rehabilitation programs by helping patients in and out of spinal rehabilitation equipment (training provided once confident at front desk responsibilities).
- Maintain a tidy reception area, manage reading materials, and perform light cleaning as needed.
- Support clinic events and promotions, including social media updates and client engagement using Canva.
- Stay informed about chiropractic care and health topics to discuss with clients.
- Participate in team meetings and attend training workshops or conferences (1-2 per year, expenses paid).
- Assist with team events such as posture screenings and community talks.
- Perform administrative tasks like scanning, filing, and managing clinic documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English, Maths, and Science.
- Experience in an administrative, reception, customer service or retail.
- Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher; experience with Canva and social media is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Has a good attention to detail
- Be of a smart appearance
- Adaptable to changing procedures.
- Clear understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone and within the team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively.

- Friendly, with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude towards continuous professional development
Desirable Qualifications or Experience:
- Admin or Customer service experience.
- ICT qualifications (e.g., ECDL, CLAIT, RSA).
- First Aid at Work Certificate.
- Experience in marketing and social media
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
Start Date:
Training begins end of May/ June 2026, with an immediate start upon successful completion of training (minimum 2 weeks).
