Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Recovery Driver with a Class 2 (7.5-ton) license to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and recovering vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient service for our clients. Your expertise in commercial driving, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills will contribute to maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service every day.

Duties

Safely operate recovery vehicles with a Class 2 (7.5-ton) license to transport and recover vehicles from various locations.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to and after recovery operations, utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify issues.
Load, secure, and unload vehicles using flatbed trucks or other specialized equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate recovery operations and provide updates.
Maintain accurate records of all recoveries, including detailed logs of vehicle conditions, locations, and recovery procedures.
Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including loading/unloading goods and managing inventory.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations diligently to ensure safe operations at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 (7.5-ton) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or vehicle recovery roles.
Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency across various terrains and conditions.
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
Experience working with flatbed trucks or specialized recovery equipment is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Warehouse experience is advantageous for supporting logistics operations when needed.
