Full job description

Job Summary
Qualified skilled renderer or experienced Lime Plasterer who can complete floating finishes on our projects, required to join our projects in Topsham and Exeter.

This role is a contract position working 0800 – 1700, Monday to Friday internal & external works Lime Rendering and Pointing.

We we work on a rotational basis between sites and this requires travelling on a daily basis.

Full driving license and your own transport and tools is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for lime rendering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
Mix lime and sand to the correct consistency and apply it to walls and ceilings using appropriate techniques.
Ensure that all lime rendering work meets quality standards and is completed within project timelines.
Repair damaged plasterwork, including filling cracks and holes to restore surfaces.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and bricklayers on construction sites.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks on-site.

Experience

Floating finish rendering is essential to this application.
Experience of working on a range of project types preferred.
Familiarity with various plastering techniques and materials.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment effectively.
