Nursery & Reception | Chard Prep School

Term Time Only (33 weeks) | Salary: £18,000 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent: £28,364)

Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years professional looking to make a real difference in a supportive and inspiring school community?

Chard Prep School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years professional to join our wonderful Nursery and Reception team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving independent preparatory school where children are known as individuals and learning is brought to life through creativity, exploration and care.

Essential Requirements

A minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Years.
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS); however, applications from candidates with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant Early Years experience are also warmly welcomed.
Proven experience working with children in a Nursery and/or Reception setting.
An excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A caring, enthusiastic and committed approach to providing outstanding early years education.
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
High expectations while creating a fun, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

Salary of £18,000 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent £28,771.43).
