Job description

We are looking for a full-time Team Leader to join our Gunwharf Quays store for Penhaligon’s. The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the management team with the ability to assume the responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence.

The Team Leader role is inclusive of all team members, merchandise and customer service elements. The Team Leader is also responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and goals, and building highly motivated teams.

You will develop and increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty, whilst maintaining the standards and expectations of the store group retailer you will be based in. You will achieve sales targets whilst promoting Puig brands by delivering a unique experience every time to customers, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.

What you'll be doing:

Support multiple stores across the region.
Analyse available sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and set business strategies
Continuously motivate sales team members to meet assigned sales and productivity goals
Ensure all Fragrance Consultants provide the highest level of customer service
Assist in the management of the client database and utilise information to increase sales and client contact
Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
Support and assist in team member training
Understand and execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds and petty cash
Collaborate with the Store Manager in areas of staffing levels, risk management, physical security, store cash controls and inventory management
Assist in all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies

Proven track record in a niche fragrance, beauty or luxury environment
Experience as a Senior Specialist or Team Leader
Excellent customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised
