Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on commercially minded and creative Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution across our portfolio of licensed furniture brands.
The Branded Furniture Company are the UK’s leading specialist in branded upholstery, holding the license for six established lifestyle and celebrity brands, including; Orla Kiely, English Heritage, Grand Designs, Amanda Holden, Vogue Williams, and Graham & Brown. With exciting new brands in the pipeline for 2027!
As a sister business to the UK’s leading furniture manufacturer, Whitemeadow Furniture, we design and create exclusive sofa collections for major furniture retailers across the UK and Ireland. This role is focused on ensuring each brand reaches its full commercial potential by developing compelling marketing strategies, creating best-in-class retail support materials, and equipping our retail partners with the tools they need to maximise sales.
Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, Creative Director, and Product Director, your remit will cover bringing each brand to life in-store, online and across customer touchpoints while maintaining the integrity of each brand's identity. This varied role will mean working both directly with retailers and the brand licensors to maximise the success of each brands potential.
You will also be the guardian of The Branded Furniture Company presence within the industry, ensuring we maintain our position as a market leader for licensed sofa collections.
Whilst we are proud to achieve big things, we operate as a small and agile team, with every member playing a vital role. The successful candidate will become an integral part of this team, and will be heavily supported to be successful.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement annual marketing strategies for each licensed furniture brand, including annual promotional, and content calendars that support retail partners.
- Ensure every collection has a clear positioning, customer proposition and communication strategy.
- Maintain consistency with each licensor's brand guidelines and approvals process and become the guardian of these guidelines across our retail partner’s platforms.
Retailer Marketing
- Develop marketing campaigns that help retailers successfully launch and promote our collections.
- Produce & maintain retailer marketing toolkits including: POS materials
o POS materials
o Digital assets
o Social media content
o Store graphics
o Product launch packs
- Work directly with retailers to tailor marketing support where appropriate.
- Work directly with retailers to optimise their online product presentation.
- Create and issue out email marketing via our Hubspot CRM to keep retailers aware of product updates, lead times, discontinuations and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain and develop our consumer facing websites designed to support the retailer sell.
- Maintain and develop the thebrandedfurnitureco.com website and retailer portal area.
Product Launches
- Develop compelling product stories and key selling messages.
- Ensure launches are supported with photography, video, CGI and supporting collateral, working alongside the Creative Director and Product Director.
- Organise and attend trade shows.
Sales Support
- Create tools that make selling easier for retail partners and internal sales team, for example;
o Selling guides
o Product brochures
o Training presentations
Brand Licensor Relationships
- Build strong working relationships with our licensed brand partners.
- Manage approval processes efficiently.
- Present marketing plans and campaign ideas to licensors.
- Identify collaborative marketing opportunities with brand partners.
Project & Budget Management
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate external agencies, photographers, designers and printers.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively.
Branded Furniture Co Specific Marketing
- Ownership of The Branded Furniture Co website & social media handles
- Develop a strategy to maintain our presence as a market leader in the industry, including annual award submissions, semi-regular press releases and digital content.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Previous experience in a Marketing Manager role.
- Experience developing marketing strategies from concept through execution.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Comfortable with managing website admin panels and CRM.
- Comfortable using creative tools such as Adobe Suite & Canva.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience managing digital marketing channels and website content.
- Strong budget management and reporting skills.
- Ability to analyse campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience within furniture, interiors, homewares or consumer lifestyle brands.
- Experience working with licensed brands.
- Experience supporting retail partners or wholesale businesses.
- Photography, video or content production experience.
- Knowledge of digital marketing

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
