About the opportunity

You’ll join Jacobs’ Economics and Outcomes team, part of our wider Programmes & Advisory unit, working alongside global experts in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role offers:

️ Leadership of impactful projects across infrastructure, transport, and utilities

️ Advanced technical work in econometrics, applied statistics, and large-scale data analysis

️ Strategic influence in shaping business cases, policy evaluations, and investment appraisals

️ Client-facing engagement with opportunities to grow relationships and identify new business

️ A platform for growth, with access to global networks, leadership development, and flexible working.

Whether you're passionate about data-driven decision-making or influencing public policy, this role offers the scope and support to thrive.

Here's what you'll need

✅ A degree or masters in economics, econometrics, statistics, finance, public policy, or a related field

✅ Proven success in economic advisory, consulting, or public sector analysis

✅ Advanced skills in R, Python, Stata, or similar tools, and experience working with large datasets (for econometrics specialists)

✅ Proven ability to apply econometric techniques to real-world infrastructure or policy challenges (for econometrics specialists)

✅ Strong familiarity with appraisal frameworks and business case development

✅ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to shape compelling narratives and influence stakeholders

✅ Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior consultants

✅ A passion for delivering quality, driving innovation, and making a meaningful impact
