Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our manufacturing refinery plant. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace Security Team based in Bootle, Liverpool Docks L20

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.

This is a Full-time Position, 42 hours per week, working on a rota basis 4on 4off from 6.30am – 6.30pm days 6.30pm – 4.30am nights – must be able to do both shift patterns and will include weekends - transport is essential to access the site.

Key responsibilities will include:

Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
Weighbridge operator checks – check delivery paperwork and record the weight of lorries arriving and leaving the site
Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency
Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty.
Operating a telephone switchboard

Key requirements will include:

Valid SIA Front Line SG/DS Licence
1ST Aid at Work Cert
Experience working with a Weighbridge advantage
Full 5-year UK checkable work history
Access to transport **
