We are looking for an experienced HGV truck mounted cherry picker operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role with varied work across multiple industries, including telecoms, signage, roofing, utilities and window cleaning.
We are a growing business and expanding quickly. We need someone reliable who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a hard-working team.
The role
- Operating truck mounted access platforms (up to 90 metres)
- Working across a 7-day operational period
- Early starts, night work and weekend work required
- Travelling to sites across the North of England mainly but also includes working away when required
- Supporting safe and efficient access for a range of clients and sectors
Requirements
- HGV licence (essential)
- IPAF 1B qualification (essential)
- CSCS card (essential)
- First Aid qualification (preferred)
- Less than 6 points on driving licence
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (due to the nature of sites we work on, including schools and public sector buildings)

Michael Wilson & Son is an established building and roofing contractor based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Alongside our core work with schools, local authorities and commercial clients, we are investing heavily in our access hire division.
We operate a growing fleet of truck mounted cherry pickers (up to 90 metres) and other access equipment, supporting a wide range of industries including telecoms, signage, utilities, roofing and specialist cleaning.
Because we own and run our own equipment, we can respond quickly, keep control over quality and deliver a reliable service to our clients.
This is a key area of growth for the business, with ongoing investment in new equipment and opportunities for the right people to grow with us.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
