To manage the day to day running of Sales Support Team, ensuring the team successfully support our Sales teams and their advisers.
Assist with Readiness and education of both the team and external customers in New Platform Delivery, i.e Team and Adviser Readiness Activities/Training.
Overall accountability for team performance, its improvements, and ensuring that the teams key risks are managed accordingly.
Key responsibilities & scope of role:

Conduct people management tasks regarding absence, performance, holidays, and attendance

Hold regular team meetings and keep staff fully informed of developments within the relevant areas/products.

Work with coaching resources to identify individual/team personal and career development needs by regularly monitoring performance, support coaching and arrange training.

Handling escalations and dissatisfaction from Distribution and their advisers, to resolve issues, and minimize reputational risks.

Build own Strong relationships with Distribution and encourage and develop the team to be able to do the same.

Working closely with Distribution supporting our Adviser community, whilst remaining focused on good customer outcomes.

Where applicable take responsibilities regarding Training and Competencies.

Hold regular one to ones focusing on people’s development and coaching as required.

Help to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

Ensure that RCA is carried out, that trends are identified, and improvements implemented as required.

Ensure the ATM is continuously equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge to deputise in your absence.

Active engagement and motivation of staff

Assist with the managing of cost centre budget, through the actual cost of operational losses and use all measures to drive and improve performance, drive out costs, add value, and improve customer service.

Responsibility/accountability for ensuring any agreed audit actions from WM Risk, UK Op’s Risk & Assurance team and risk event management actions have regular updates provided and are closed within agreed timescales.

Use business strategy to drive team and individual objectives. Ensure team planning aligns with function business plans.

Ensure VALUES behaviours are demonstrated from all team members.

This role will directly impact good customer outcomes by ensuring our Account Managers are trained, coached, and supported sufficiently to provide the excellent customer service to our adviser firms and their clients that Quilter is known for.
