MTS Logistics Ltd are a family-led Logistic and Warehousing company who run a modern, well-presented specialised fleet of vehicles offering professional sustainable solutions. With 150,000 Sq Ft of warehouse at our immediate disposal, we also serve as a national or regional hub for multi-national organisations and provide an ideal overflow for local businesses.

If you are a 'yes' person, someone who's got a great team spirit, enjoys working under pressure and a fast leaner, then we would love to hear from you. We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant established team in our busy transport office.

The Transport Administrator will support with the efficient and smooth running of our transport department. You will need to be a professional and reliable individual, with excellent communication skills in order to provide a high level of service to our internal and external customers. The working hours will be Monday to Friday with 37 ½ hours a week. These hours can be flexible, however they will include 1 in 4 Saturdays, operated on a team rota basis. Holiday cover will also be required within the wider transport team.

Key Responsibilities in this role include;

Understand regulations applying to the operation of a transport department
Inputting daily / weekly POD Paperwork
Operating a variety of IT-systems as required
Follow customer specific procedures
Maintain regular contact and communication with the Driving team
Support with Ad-hoc tasks delegated from the Transport Planners
General administration – updating reports, scanning/filing paperwork.
Maintain and control effective stock levels of PPE

Key skills and experience we are looking for with this role include;

Previous experience working in a transport office
Ability to work well as part of a team
Capable of working to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Experience using IT systems particularly Microsoft Office
Experience working in a busy office environment
Experience of working with telematics systems
Ability to use own initiative / apply problem solving skills
Compliant with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
Self motivated

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
