Dog Handler / Dog Walker
Katie & Friends Pet Services – Waltham Abbey & surrounding areas
We are looking for a reliable, confident and experienced Dog Handler to join our growing team at Katie & Friends Pet Services.
This is not just a “walk dogs in the park” role — you will be responsible for handling multiple dogs safely, managing behaviour, and representing a well-established business with high standards.
The Role
- Walking groups of dogs in a variety of environments
- Handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ensuring all dogs are kept safe at all times
- Collecting and dropping off dogs from clients’ homes using a company vehicle
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
- Communicating professionally with clients when required
What We’re Looking For
- Confident handling multiple dogs at once
- Good understanding of dog behaviour and health
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Full clean UK driving licence for a manual vehicle is essential
- Proven experience with animals
Hours
*This is a full time position*
- 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)
- 6 hours per day
- Potential to work a weekend on odd occasion with advanced notice given

- Training will be provided - but some animal experience is necessary
