Role Summary:
Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Setter Operator to join our global Precision Engineering & Manufacturing business who provide integrated manufacturing solutions for Aerospace, Defence, Medical and other related industries
The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.
Key Responsibilities:
- To set up machines with maximum efficiency.
- Responsible for efficient production, including the multi-manning of machines where required.
- Maintain all production paperwork packs to include MIPC Sheets / Synchro Sheets, and all associated documents.
- Maintain gauging and measuring equipment currently held on the area.
- To liaise with Inspection Department to ensure timely first off.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment operating within the site.
- Maintain and conform to all Health and Safety requirements.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Responsible for individual job improvement.
- Ensure daily/weekly preventative maintenance procedures are maintained in conjunction with the site procedures.

Essential and Desired Qualifications:
- Previous knowledge of a manufacturing environment
- Semi skilled machinist (Milling/Turning) with experience of 3 & 4 axis machining Desired
- Familiarity with Fanuc & Heidenheim machine controls.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and associated paperwork.
- Understanding of both Metric and Imperial measurements
