Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating exceptional drinks and delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of cocktails, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure guests enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
Greet guests warmly, taking orders efficiently while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
Ensure all drinks are prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments using the point-of-sale system.
Monitor guest intoxication levels and intervene responsibly when necessary.
Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
Engage with guests to create a lively, friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Comply with all health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or bar work is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential.
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Good organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
A valid personal identification document (e.g., passport or driving licence) for employment verification purposes.
