Position: Roadside Recovery Mechanic
Location: Bowling Back Lane, Bradford, BD4 8SP
Working Hours: 38 hours per week - rotation of earlies and lates, 6am-2pm, 12pm-10pm, 4 or 5 days per week
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour
About The Role

The purpose of a Roadside Recovery Mechanic is to attend, assess and repair minor vehicle breakdowns on the roadside in order to get the vehicle safely back to the depot for full repair.
It's an important role within our engineering team and allows us to keep things moving.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend and repair bus breakdowns in and around the Bradford area, driving a company vehicle
Booking out parts from the stores dept when required
Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get our buses back to the depot
Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and correctly completed
Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About You:
You must hold a valid UK driving license
Are you familiar with mechanical repair techniques and the use of diagnostic equipment?
A PCV Licence is advantageous however not essential, we will help you gain this
Do you have great attention to detail and a willingness to learn?
