Location: Penwith or Truro campus, or both.
Salary: £24,454 per annum (£21,765 per annum)
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Do you have excellent administrative skills, a passion for supporting young people, and a talent for organisation?

Truro and Penwith College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Administrator to join our Learning Support and Inclusive Practice Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting learners, including those with SEND and EHCPs, while working within a friendly and professional team environment.

What You’ll Do

Be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents/carers, external agencies, and members of the public.
Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Process and maintain confidential student records, including medical and learning support information.
Support EHCP administration and review processes.
Coordinate meetings, calendars, correspondence, and team resources.
Maintain accurate records and utilise college systems for data management.
Assist with ordering, invoices, and general office administration.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

Experience in an administrative support role
Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and record-keeping systems
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A high level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners
The ability to work sensitively with students with additional needs and disabilities
