About The Role
We are looking for a full time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join us and take ownership of the day-to-day marketing and events activities across the business. This is a chance for an individual to have a real impact on the creative and marketing presence of a growing accounting firm in the southwest. Reporting to the Managing Director, the ideal candidate will work closely with the senior leadership of the company to create and lead marketing campaigns and, for the right person, the role will evolve over time as they make it their own.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the senior leadership team in coordinating and executing various marketing activities. Your role is crucial in maintaining organised workflows and contributing to the overall success of our marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Organisation -
- Coordinate the attendance and logistics for events and campaigns, such as booking venues, arranging catering, managing supplies, and setting up exhibition spaces at specialist shows.
- Liaise with suppliers and 3rd parties, such as event organisers and educational establishments.
- Generate promotional materials for upcoming events across our website and social media platforms.
- Research and identify potential events and marketing opportunities.
Marketing -
- Effective communication with the senior leadership team around marketing content and direction, gaining an understanding of their objectives to develop tailored campaigns.
- Assist in creating marketing content, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
- Support social media efforts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and providing analytics.
- Regularly maintain and update company websites.
- Work collaboratively across the firm to be able to provide new content for company websites.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.
Administrative Support -
- Assist in the creation and organisation of marketing materials, including presentations, reports, and promotional content.
- Manage and organise marketing files, ensuring easy accessibility for the team.
Skills and Experience:
- Proactive in your approach, using your initiative and creativity to drive company growth and lead marketing campaigns.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and basic knowledge of marketing tools and platforms.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all marketing materials.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced marketing environment.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to assist team members as needed.
Work Schedule:
37.5 hours Monday-Friday, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of marketing campaigns and events when needed.
