Coomber Fire and Security is seeking a motivated and professional Fire Safety Technician to join and grow our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build or advance a career in fire safety, combining hands-on technical work, training delivery, client engagement, and operational responsibility.

Whether you already have experience or are looking to develop into a role, we provide full support, training, and progression within a fast-growing and forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out inspection, servicing, and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and fire safety systems, including fire doors and evacuation chairs
Install, commission, and upgrade fire safety equipment in line with current British Standards
Deliver and support Portable Firefighting Equipment (PFE) and Fire Warden / Fire Marshal training
Produce detailed service reports and compliance documentation
Ensure full compliance with fire safety legislation and best practice
Manage and coordinate the scheduling of service calls to ensure efficient and timely client delivery
Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering parts, extinguishers, and fire safety equipment as required
Drive revenue growth through upselling of fire safety products, services, and compliance solutions
Support business development by identifying opportunities and building strong client relationships
Act as a professional point of contact, providing expert fire safety guidance

Requirements

No prior experience required – full training will be provided
Strong work ethic and willingness to develop new skills
Good organisational and time-management abilities
Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment
Full UK driving licence
