Full job description

Stock Controller

£28’000 to £30’000 DOE + Paid Saturday Overtime

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00

1 in 5 Saturday mornings (paid in addition to salary)

NTEX Limited is looking for an organised and detail-focused Stock Controller to join our growing logistics operation based at our South Killingholme depot.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or stock control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and delivering excellent service.

You’ll play a key role in managing stock across multiple sites, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring inventory systems remain accurate and efficient.

The Role

As Stock Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate inventory and stock management records
Generating and monitoring pick lists for customer orders
Producing weekly stock and KPI reports
Raising sales invoices using internal systems
Liaising with customers and responding to daily enquiries
Carrying out perpetual stock counts and reconciliations
Supporting warehouse teams with stock-related queries
Ensuring all stock movements are recorded correctly and efficiently

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
Strong communication and customer service skills
Accuracy-focused with a proactive approach

Desirable Experience

Warehousing and logistics knowledge
Understanding of transport and distribution operations
Experience handling high-value or high-consequence goods
Awareness of ADR cargo requirements
