We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team, working on our new Amada 130T 3M HFE M2.
The ideal candidate will be confident setting and operating CNC press brakes, producing accurate folded components from engineering drawings. Experience with stainless steel fabrication would be an advantage.
There is also an opportunity for the right person to either already operate, or be trained to operate, our laser cutting equipment. This role would suit someone who wants to develop their skills and become a more versatile member of a busy fabrication team.
Main duties
- Setting and operating an Amada CNC press brake
- Folding sheet metal components accurately to drawings
- Checking parts for quality, dimensions, and finish
- Working with stainless steel and other sheet materials
- Supporting production targets in a busy fabrication environment
- Learning or assisting with laser cutting operations where suitable
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Skills and experience
- Previous experience operating CNC press brakes is essential
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Amada machinery would be an advantage
- Laser cutting experience would be beneficial, but training can be provided
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work overtime
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when required
