Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to a high standard. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

MOT tester would be an advantage but not essential.

Monday - Friday working week

Pay negotiable based on experience

Duties

Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre replacements
Assemble parts and components accurately following technical specification.
Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used.
Assist with the assembly of new equipment or vehicles as needed
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Requirements

Experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role with strong mechanical knowledge
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance routines
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks regularly
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
