We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts/Admin Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and management of financial records using accounting software, Xero
- Manage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and payments
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and correspondence
- Handle general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Liaise with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment queries
- Adding web orders to the CRM
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and basic bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role is essential

Pay: £24,420.00-£27,000.00 per year
