About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to lead our store team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the store runs smoothly. You’ll set the standard on the shop floor—coaching team members, handling key operational tasks, and creating a positive, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Supervise, support, and motivate team members
- Delegate tasks effectively to maximise productivity
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere
Customer Service
- Maintain high levels of customer care, ensuring every shopper feels valued
- Resolve issues and complaints promptly to achieve customer satisfaction
- Promote offers and encourage upselling to meet sales targets
Store Operations
- Oversee store cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health & safety regulations
- Carry out cash-handling duties, including refunds, exchanges, and daily cash flow management
- Take responsibility for store closing procedures
- Monitor for loss prevention and report any suspicious activity
Time & Productivity
- Consistently arrive on time and lead punctuality by example
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of retail operations and procedures
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
