Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of catering services at various events and venues. The ideal candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid, and training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your duties effectively.

Responsibilities

Assisting with food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure high standards of quality and hygiene
Setting up catering areas and serving stations prior to events
Serving food to guests in a professional and courteous manner
Maintaining cleanliness of the catering area during and after service
Restocking supplies as needed throughout service periods
Supporting team members with general duties such as washing up, clearing tables, and waste disposal
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or during peak event times
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
