Full job description

Hours: 9am - 1pm (Monday - Friday)

We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver to join our team. You'll be working within our Parts Operations based in Inverness assisting with deliveries to our customers. This role is based on a basic 20hr hour week working Monday - Friday, starting from 09.00am to 13.00pm.

About the role:
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will provide an efficient delivery and collection service to our trade parts customers. You will also be required to assist with light warehouse duties.

Duties include :
✔ Check the quality and quantity of orders , check correct to paperwork
✔ Manually upload parcels for delivery on to van
✔ Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
✔ Ensure goods are delivered or collected to/from our commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
✔ Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
✔ Complete all documentation as per company procedure
✔ Adhere to company procedures and policies
✔ Hold a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years
✔ Some warehouse duties may be required

Your skills & experience will include:
✔ Have great communication skills and the drive to succeed
✔ Be reliable, helpful and courteous.
✔ Be able to cope with a variety of customer demands and deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
✔ Be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy to ensure that all relevant checks and paperwork are completed for each collection or delivery.
✔ Be able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
✔ Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
✔ Hold a full clean driving licence (essential).
✔ Have previous courier experience (preferable but non-essential).
✔ Have an understanding of the local area.
