Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have previous delivery driver experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within logistics and warehousing.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, to deliver goods to various locations.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are handled with care.
Organise and maintain stock within the warehouse, keeping the area clean and organised.
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and recording deliveries.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times during warehouse operations and driving tasks.
Complete relevant documentation accurately for each delivery or collection.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehousing.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries.
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
