At Centred, we're building an HR function that adds real value to the organisation, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
We're seeking an organised, proactive and motivated HR Administrator who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, improving processes and making things happen. This is more than a traditional administration role. You'll be involved in every stage of the employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, liaising with payroll, compliance and HR projects, while helping to ensure our people receive an excellent HR service.
You'll work closely with the HR Manager and service managers, playing a key role in supporting the organisation's people priorities. This is a busy and varied role where initiative, organisation and attention to detail are genuinely valued.
This role would suit someone who already has experience in HR administration or coordination and is looking for an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and develop their career. As our HR function continues to evolve, there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to take on increased responsibility and develop into a broader HR Coordinator role.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- enjoys being organised and keeping things running smoothly
- takes ownership of your work and sees tasks through to completion
- is confident working independently and managing competing priorities
- has excellent attention to detail and consistently produces accurate, high-quality work
- is highly IT literate and confident using the full Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- enjoys learning new systems and is comfortable working with HR information systems and recruitment platforms
- looks for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency rather than simply following established ways of working
- has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- enjoys supporting managers and colleagues by providing a professional, responsive HR service
- is keen to develop a long-term career in Human Resources.
Desirable Experience
While not essential, we'd particularly like to hear from candidates who have experience of:
- working within an HR department or busy office environment
- HR Information Systems (HRIS/HRMS)
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment platforms
- recruitment and onboarding administration
- payroll administration or liaising with payroll providers
- supporting HR projects or process improvements
- working towards or holding a CIPD qualification.
We offer
- Flexible part-time or full-time hours (21–35 hours per week)
- A varied role with exposure across the full employee lifecycle
- Opportunities to develop your HR knowledge and experience
- A supportive working environment
- Competitive salary and benefits
- 32 days’ paid holiday a year, increasing up to 35 days
- Earn money through our Employee Referral Scheme
- Buy and sell holiday days using our HolidayPlus scheme
- Access your money as you earn it via our partners Hastee
- Competitive pension and life assurance schemes
- Employee assistance programme and access to health and wellbeing support
- Flexible working patterns to support work-life balance
- Organisational support into personal/professional development
