Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently whilst assisting with warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe driving, heavy lifting, and supporting logistical operations across various sites. Prior experience in delivery driving and warehouse work is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to clients and designated locations
- Load and unload items, including heavy or bulky products, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Assist with organising stock within the warehouse, including moving items between storage areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules and deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during driving and labouring tasks
- Support general labour duties as required, including assisting with warehouse organisation and clean-up
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or labouring roles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and route planning
- Knowledge about construction materials and local building materials suppliers
- Physically fit, capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

Pay: £2,000.00-£2,500.00 per month
