Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Assistant/Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional sales support and administrative assistance to ensure smooth operations within our sales department. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and have a keen eye for detail. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment, contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Assist with sales administration tasks, including processing orders and maintaining accurate records using CRM software.
Support the sales team with day-to-day administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management.
Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Manage customer enquiries in person, via email and phone, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Process orders through Shopify & update working calendar accordingly.
Update and maintain client databases using Shopify and other relevant systems.
Organise appointments, meetings, and follow-up activities efficiently through effective time management.
Provide basic marketing support to the sales team.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with CRM software (Shopify) is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable experience in sales administration or administrative roles.
Good IT literacy with the ability to adapt quickly to new software tools.
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional approach.
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals looking to enhance their administrative and sales support skills within a supportive organisation committed to professional development.
