Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our P6 Planner you'll support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by developing and maintaining accurate, reliable project programmes.
Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring programmes reflect how work is carried out on site, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and key milestones.
You'll develop and maintain detailed project programmes in Primavera P6, ensuring clear structure, logic, and sequencing. Establish and manage programme baselines, tracking changes and ensuring alignment with project delivery. Carry out regular programme updates, including collecting progress information, updating actuals, and maintaining accurate forecasts. Support monthly reporting requirements, including planned vs actual progress, milestone tracking, and programme narratives.
You'll need to identify critical path activities, risks, and delays, highlighting issues early and supporting the team in finding solutions. Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and site teams to validate programme assumptions and ensure realistic delivery plans. Maintain programme quality, ensuring schedules are fully logic-linked, consistent, and easy to understand. Support NEC contract requirements, including programme submissions and updates in line with Clause 31/32. Assist with tender programmes and early-stage planning where required.
What you'll bring
- Experience using Primavera P6 to develop and manage project programmes
- Background in construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of planning principles, including logic linking and critical path
- Ability to analyse programme performance and communicate key messages clearly
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with project delivery teams
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
