Full job description

The White Halesworth .

We are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate person to join our team at the White Hart in Halesworth.

This role is perfect for someone with minimum of twelve months super visionary experience gained within a similar position ,who is ready to take the next step in their career, supporting the owners and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily running of the pub, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Lead and support front-of-house staff during busy periods.
Open and close the pub, including cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Support stock control, including cellar management, deliveries, and stock rotation.
Handle customer queries, feedback, or complaints professionally and proactively.
Help train and mentor new team members, fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure consistent service standards and smooth coordination between the bar, kitchen, and management.

Skills & Experience

Previous Hospitality supervisory experience essential.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Confident in cash handling and basic administrative duties.
A personal licence is beneficial but not essential (training can be provided).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Experience:

Bar/Resturant: 2 years (preferred)

Work authorisation:

United Kingdom (preferred)

Work Location: In person
