Location: Sizewell C - Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Foreman to join our Sizewell C team in Suffolk. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction operations related to large infrastructure projects, ensuring that all work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required specifications, while managing supervisors, subcontractors, and resources on-site.
What will you be responsible for?
As a General Foreman, you'll be working within the Sizewell C team, supporting them in delivering large infrastructure projects safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:
- Supervising and coordinating site operatives, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to programme schedules
- Enforcing health and safety policies, conducting site safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations
- Monitoring workmanship and ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards
- Allocating daily tasks, monitoring productivity and progress against project timelines
- Maintaining accurate site records including labour allocation and daily diaries
What are we looking for?
This role of General Foreman is great for you if:
- You hold SSSTS or SMSTS certification and a CSCS Card (Gold or Black)
- You have proven experience in a construction supervisory role with strong leadership skills
- You possess excellent knowledge of construction methods, can read and interpret construction drawings, and have experience in Groundworks, Earthworks & Reinforced Concrete
- You have strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for liaising with teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- You have a strong focus on health and safety compliance with First Aid at Work certification
