Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber / Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fixtures across residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades. Duties
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Install wall tiles, shower boards and other items associated with bathrooms.
- Fitting bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, baths, and associated plumbing components.
- Using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pipe cutters to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Operating power tools safely for cutting, drilling, and fitting purposes.
- Applying welding techniques where necessary for specialised pipework or fixture installation.
- Performing basic carpentry tasks related to bathroom fitting, such as framing or minor structural adjustments.
- Conducting mechanical inspections to ensure systems meet safety standards and function correctly.
- Managing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or refurbishment projects.
- Ensuring all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards.
- Assisting with assembly of bathroom units or fixtures as required on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance within residential or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications is desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes related to bathroom fitting.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipework layouts and fixture connections.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Carpentry skills beneficial for structural adjustments or fitting bathroom furniture.
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project work.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
