EA Spray has a opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is looking for an opening to carve a career in the coatings finishing industry.
Established in 2021 we are a young and rapidly expanding business primarily focussed on spray finishing doors, windows, kitchens and cabinetry for clients across East Anglian to London. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Spray Technician and Polisher to join our small team based in Halesworth, Suffolk.
Whilst some experience within the painting and decorating or spray finishing industry is an advantage, it is by no means essential. What is important are your personal qualities of good communication skills, reliability, a can-do attitude and above all a desire to learn and work as part of a team.
The position offers scope for progression for the new team member. Initially you'll be working to perfect the essential skills of prepping joinery which is the key to a good paint finish. Once these skills are secured you'll progress to spraying, learning from our two sprayers who have over 40 years of spray experience between them and are keen to pass on their knowledge.
Hours are initially part-time flexible, progressing to full-time permanent for the right candidate.
Essential requirements :
Own transport essential - full UK/EU Driving licence.
A desire to learn and progress.
Be punctual, hardworking and reliable
Polite, friendly and have a can-do positive attitude.
Be happy to work as part of a small team as well as on own initiative as required
Desirable requirements :
Some experience of working within painting or construction industries
Some experience of working with hand and power tools
Duties :
Filling, rubbing down, sanding, masking and generally prepping doors, furniture and bespoke joinery items ready for spray
Keeping the spray shop tidy and safe
Packing sprayed furniture and joinery items ready for delivery
Helping load and unload delivery vehicles
Pay: £13.00 per hour
