Exciting New Opportunity Alert: An opportunity awaits to join our outstanding company at our new purposed built Central Lab in Liverpool, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge dental implant solutions.
About EvoDental
Life is too short to work somewhere ordinary… So, why not work somewhere extraordinary!
We are the only UK clinics specialising exclusively in smile in a day, full mouth dental implants. This is all that we do, all day, every day!
This role is for you if you are a high-performing Dental Lab Technician who is excited for your next challenge. To truly thrive in this role, you must have an interest and preferably experience in implant dentistry and have a keen eye for detail! If your desire is to take your expertise to the next level within this advanced, innovative, progressive business that is on a rapid growth trajectory, then please apply.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, and to properly understand who we are and what we do, check out our website and explore some of the patient testimonials.
Our workflow has gathered much attention from the world of implant dentistry, and we can hand on heart say that nobody does it quite like us!
Our Team
This unique opportunity will see you being part of our empathetic, hardworking and well-informed EvoTeam™, helping our patients who are in need of life-changing treatment, by delivering our treatment modality, the EvoSolution™.
What we do is truly life changing for our patients – and it’s extremely satisfying for us too! It’s a great feeling to be part of a team that changes people’s lives. And we do this every day!
Are you an outstanding individual?
We are looking for an outstanding individual in every way: intellect, enthusiasm, focus, drive, communication skills, and the tenacity to think outside the box. This is a big ask for what is a big role, so please be prepared to fully demonstrate the above qualities as well as these essential requirements:
- Previous knowledge of high-end private level prosthetic delivery is essential (an intimate understanding of implant retained full arch prosthetic setup/design preferable), and because EvoDental is not an ordinary dental practice, we are looking for an extraordinary candidate in this field.
- Experience in prosthetic dental technology, including denture setups, implant-retained bridges and repairs, would be advantageous; however, it is not essential.
- We also welcome applications from newly qualified Dental Technicians who are looking for an exciting opportunity to develop their skills and build their career. Full training will be provided in our unique EvoSolution™ treatment system. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude for technical work, a genuine passion for learning and the motivation to become an important part of our treatment delivery team.
- You will have a passion and appetite to learn aspects of a digital workflow, including CAD Design (ExoCAD experience in this modality would be preferred), scanning and CAM manufacturing. Training will be provided and a thirst to learn is a must.
- Do you have experience working with Zirconia and a passion for attention to detail when working on full arch implant-retained prosthetics? If so, we want to hear from you.
- Highly motivated, striving to delight and get the job done, for both individual and team tasks – a positive team culture is vitally important to us.
- Friendly, respectful and polite, you will have a comprehensive command of written and spoken English, with the ability to maintain composure when difficult conversations must occur.
The Role
You will be a dental lab technician, hands-on, working as part of a team to ensure the work output and solutions delivered to patients are excellent and timely.
- Providing cover for team members for holidays etc. so that departments aren’t unduly pressured, and the production schedule remains ahead of time.
- Directly reporting to the lab supervisor on day-to-day management of the team, results, suggestions for improvement, and development and delivery of a monthly production/productivity report.
- Ensure the lab team are well supported.
- Offer support to the wider team when opportunities arise to help achieve team goals and uphold our Vision, Values & Mission.
- Flexible hours based on the needs of the business, typically four days per week, ten working hours per day, floating between 08:00 and 19:00, with the possibility of the occasional Saturday.
- A bench test may be required as part of the interview process to assess your practical skills and ability. This allows us to understand where your current skill levels sit and how best we can support your development within the role.
The special work we do is so very important to the lives of our patients, hence the requirement to be completely reliable, trustworthy, and have oodles of empathy.
You must have the ability to collaborate with remote teams using all available technology.
Ideally you will hold a valid GDC Registration, but this is not a deal breaker – so don’t let this hold you back from applying!
One team, one way… the Evo way!
