About the role....
We are looking for a hands on Specialist Service Delivery Manager to manage a small team of specialist cleaning operatives, your duties would include but will not be limited to:
- Effective leadership: development and training of the team to ensure that they have the resources, skills, attitudes, and behaviours to deliver outstanding service to our clients
- Become an expert in your field - with a can-do and hands on approach. You will be expected to work on the tools alongside your team when required
- Meticulously plan the specialist team diary / workload - liaising with internal and external customers effectively
- Develop and maintain a strong and close partnership with our clients including the timely and effective resolution of issues and the development of additional contract opportunities for the business
- Responsible for the control, monitoring, and delivery of the service level agreement to deliver value to clients within the agreed contract costs
- Promote a culture of safety across all tasks through the specialist cleaning team, which is compliant with ISM safety and quality systems, including managing, maintaining, and reviewing safety procedures
- Carry out regular reviews of staff performance and make recommendations as appropriate
- To be responsible for any Health and Safety matters arising within the operation and to undertake assessment and review of such incidents/events in line with the Company’s internal and external Health and Safety procedures
- Responsible to provide competent training and monitor the safe operation of all equipment
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within our operation to drive efficiencies and innovation across the national contracts team through effective engagement of the Head Office support team
- Responsible for initiating recruitment within your team, conducting interviews and candidate selection, and providing induction and training to new site colleagues
- Act as a brand ambassador for ISM and its values both internally and externally
- To prepare and organise all machinery for all specialist works
- To keep the ISM warehouse and external areas tidy and organised, including landscaping duties ensuring a safe working environment
- To complete all compliance documentation and ensure that the ISM warehouse areas meet all compliance requirements
- To complete light maintenance on warehouse machinery

Experience working in a hygiene environment would be advantageous but not essential.
The right candidate will need to be open to working flexible hours - contracted to 40 hours per week - 5 days out of 7.
