Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician and knowledge of medication administration are highly desirable. Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders
Provide guidance and information to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous
A compassionate attitude towards patients and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Pay: £12.86 per hour
