About the role
Could you support adults experiencing substance misuse and mental health difficulties to move towards recovery and stability?
As Drug and Alcohol Professional - Registered Mental Health Nurse, you’ll work within the Drug and Alcohol Team, delivering recoveryfocused care in the community. Based primarily at the Martyn Mackie Treatment Centre, you’ll work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, acting as a key worker for a mediumcomplexity caseload and contributing to assessment, treatment, risk management and recovery planning across the Isle of Man.
Daytoday work includes building therapeutic relationships, delivering interventions on a onetoone and group basis, promoting wellbeing and supporting individuals to make positive changes. You’ll also contribute to training, share specialist knowledge and support the ongoing development of services.

Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
