We are seeking a dedicated and personable Bridal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a high pressure environment whilst also providing exceptional customer service to prospective brides ,bridesmaids and evening wear customers
This role involves understanding client needs, offering expert advice, and creating memorable shopping experiences.The successful applicant will play a vital part in ensuring clients feel confident and satisfied with their choices, contributing to the overall success of the store.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and establish a welcoming atmosphere for consultations
- Assist clients in selecting dresses based on their preferences and requirements remembering that our dresses are for special occasions
- Provide expert advice on fit, style, colour options, and current trends to help clients make informed decisions
- Maintain organised displays of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service for all clients
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding product features, pricing, and available options using professional phone etiquette
- Keep abreast of new arrivals, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers
- Support organisational tasks such as stock replenishment and maintaining cleanliness of the fitting area
Skills
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and personalised customer engagement
- Organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain tidy displays effectively
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient client service throughout busy periods
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and calculating alterations or discounts
- Effective phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone or via email
- Upselling skills combined with a friendly approach to enhance client satisfaction and sales performance
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to create attractive product displays that appeal to customers
