About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing construction business to recruit an Electrical Project Coordinator.
Based in Peterborough, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded company delivering electrical solutions across major projects, including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities.
You will play a key role in coordinating both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Attend project start-up meetings and review all project specifications
Coordinate labour and resources across multiple live sites
Produce and submit regular progress reports
Monitor project budgets and oversee purchasing activities
Track overall project progress and performance
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with programme requirements
Attend site meetings where required
Assist with the preparation and submission of quotations for new works
Requirements
Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role
Strong background within the electrical sector
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Experience supervising and coordinating site teams
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Resilient and able to manage changing project demands
