Full job description

We are seeking a skilled bench Joiner to join our team on a self-employed basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proven background in bespoke high end joinery.

This role involves producing high quality cabinetry and fitted furniture from a range of materials.

The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards.

Duties

Accurately read technical drawings and specifications
Fabricate bespoke joinery items from technical drawings to the highest standard
Ensure items are produced in line with production programme
Use hand/power tools and machinery effectively for various tasks.
Quality check own work before hand over to factory manager

Requirements

Excellent tooling/machine ability is essential panel saw, chop saw, routers, spindle, veneer press, sanding
Excellent understanding of joinery production techniques.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Proficient in reading technical drawings
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
Report directly to Factory Manager
