Job description

As a Property Manager. You will be joining a friendly and diverse group of individuals working together to provide the highest level of customer service to our Landlords, Tenants and contractors. No two days are ever the same and you never know what weird and wonderful situations you be assisting with!

Our Property Managers are key members of our Head Office team. You will ensure that our Landlords and Tenants are kept up-to-date with any maintenance queries throughout the duration of their tenancy, oversee the move-in and settling in period of a tenant and the exit and deposit release at the end. This is a fantastic chance for you to get an unparalleled insight into our business and industry, with plenty of ongoing training and learning opportunities to keep you up-to-date on changing legislation and process.

Key Responsibilities

Our well thought-out processes are crucial to ensuring the very highest standards of customer service. As one of our property managers, you will be responsible for several key areas:

Day to day property maintenance issues.
Planned maintenance
Invoice management and processing
Obtaining competitive quotations
Reporting to Landlord and Tenant
Insurance claims
Utilities - setting up and closing down.
Organisation of safety certification and remedial works
Negotiation and distribution of deposit at the end of the tenancy.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

You will receive comprehensive training on your role giving you the chance to flourish, but ideally we are looking for somebody that already has:

A confident and positive outlook, focussed with a growth mindset.
Robustness and the ability to remain cool and calm when dealing with a challenging situation.
The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure both individually and as part of the wider team.
The ability to build relationships and consult with others, quickly establishing trust and credibility.
The ability to recognise failure as an opportunity to learn.
Excellent IT skills
Excellent written and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Confident in dealing with clients over the phone and in written format
Ideally be ARLA licensed/achieved the NFOPP Technical Award (not essential)
Minimum 12-18 months experience in a similar property management role.
Enthusiasm to do a good job
