We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Self Employed Hair Stylist and/or Barber to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of working independently while providing exceptional hair styling or barbering services to clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for hairdressing, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. This position is perfect for experienced professionals looking to build their own clientele within a supportive environment, we also have clients ready and waiting.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences
Provide professional barbering services including beard trimming, and haircuts for men and women
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through personalised service and excellent communication
Maintain a clean, organised workspace in compliance with health and safety standards
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and business growth
Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
Promote services through word-of-mouth, social media, or other marketing channels to attract new clients

Skills

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with a strong portfolio of work
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to understand and meet client needs
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
Strong knowledge of current trends, techniques, colour treatments, and grooming products
Ability to work independently as a self-employed professional while managing your own business operations
Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments efficiently
Professional attitude with a commitment to hygiene standards and client confidentiality
